Product import fails because of missing TaxCategory mapping

support request by Giedrius:

ItemImporter, line 75:
var taxCategory = systemValues.First(x => x.Name == "TaxCategory").Value;

thing is, that when creating import job, not only that this property is not required, it is not even on the mapped properties list, so there's no way to set up mapping.

Also, you're using ItemId property in import, but not allow to map it.

Best Answer

thanks for the info, i'll forward your message to our import developer. It should display TaxCategory for mapping (it might still get the field from csv if the field is present).

In the meantime, In order to avoid error, simply add "TaxCategory" field to CSV file and should work.

Also it is better to use "Code" field instead of itemid, that way you can generate your own id's.
